Defaults¶
Under Administration > Settings > Defaults, system-wide reference data for SI prefixes, physical quantities, and quality provisions is maintained. This data forms the basis for correct data collection and processing throughout the entire application.
SI Prefixes¶
The table manages standardized SI prefixes (e.g., Mega, Kilo, Milli) with the following fields:

| Name | Full name of the prefix (e.g., "mega"). |
| Symbol | Abbreviation of the prefix (e.g., "M"). |
| Base 10 | Base-10 exponent of the prefix. |
Physical Quantities¶
The table manages physical quantities with their units and dimension assignments:

| Base Quantity | Name of the physical quantity (e.g., Ohm, Hertz). |
| Symbol | Physical symbol (e.g., Omega, Hz). |
| Description | Description of the quantity. |
| SI Base Unit | Associated SI base unit. |
| Dimension | Dimensional analysis representation. |
| Comments | Classification or comment (e.g., "scalar"). |
Warning
Changes to SI prefixes and physical quantities should only be made by technically qualified personnel, as they affect calculations and reports throughout the entire system.
Quality Provisions¶
The table manages quality assurance information, e.g., for certifications:

| Name | Designation of the quality entry. |
| Description | Explanatory description of the entry. |
Notes¶
- All tables provide filter and sorting capabilities.
- New entries can be added via the respective button.
- Existing entries are edited or deleted via the action menu.
