Loan List¶
The loan list provides a structured overview of active and historical location assignments of loan measuring instruments. Devices, machines or other inventory items are assigned here to customer locations on a temporal and organizational basis.
Table View¶
The filter row above the table allows targeted searching for location assignments:
| No. | Column | Description |
|---|---|---|
| ① | Customer | Filters by the assigned customer |
| ② | Location Name/Company, Editor | Search by location name or responsible person |
| ③ | City | Narrowing by geographic location |
| ④ | Department | Filtering by organizational unit at the location |
| ⑤ | Station | Filters by sub-area within a location |
| ⑥ | Old Rental | Indicates whether this is a legacy rental |
| ⑦ | Rental Start-date | Narrowing by start date of the location assignment |
| ⑧ | Loan Time | Filters by time of loan start |
| ⑨ | Current Record | Shows whether the record is currently valid (Yes/No) |
| ⑩ | Inventory Owner | Narrowing by owning organization or person |
Action Menu¶
The following functions are available via the action menu at the end of each row:
- View -- Opens the detail view of the location assignment without editing capability
- Edit -- Opens the editing mask for modifying location data
- Delete -- Removes the location entry after confirmation (may be restricted to historical records)
Typical Workflows¶
The filter row enables targeted searching for customers, departments, time periods or owners. The "Rental Start-date" and "Loan Time" fields allow precise control over the start of the rental period. The "Current Record" field can be used to quickly check whether an entry is currently valid or historical.
Note for Administrators
The combination of rental date and "Current Record" should be consistent -- e.g., only one active entry per inventory item. For complete traceability, historization of location histories is recommended. Before deleting, it should be checked whether other systems reference this location data (e.g., tasks, calibrations).
