Capture Status¶

Under Administration > Status Management > Capture Status, the status values used in the various modules (Inventory, Calibration, Orders, Support Tickets, Maintenance, etc.) are configured.

Status Overview¶

Field	Description
Title	Name of the status in the system.
Alternative Title	Optional alternative display text (e.g., for multilingual support).
Description	Explanation of the status meaning.
Type	Functional category (e.g., `INVENTORY`, `BOOKING`, `SUPPORT_TICKETS`).
Background Color	Color code for visual distinction in the UI.
Font Color	Text color for the status in the UI.
Mail Report Evaluation	Controls whether the status appears in automated mail reports.
Hidden	Hides the status in the frontend without deactivating it.
Active	Only active status values can be assigned to new objects.
Actions	Edit or delete the status.

Notes¶

When configuring colors, ensure sufficient contrast between background and font color.
Hidden status values are retained internally but are not displayed in the frontend.
Inactive status values can remain on existing objects but are no longer selectable for new assignments.
Deleting a status is only possible when it is no longer assigned to any object.
