Calibration List

The calibration list provides an overview of all calibration operations recorded in the system. It serves to track completed calibrations, monitor upcoming deadlines, and review the status of calibrated instruments.

Columns

No. Column Description
Technician Name of the responsible technician.
Calibration Date Date of the last calibration.
Next Calibration Scheduled date of the next calibration.
Result Calibration result ("Y" = passed, empty = open).
Valid Entry Indicates whether the calibration is currently valid (Yes/No). Color-coded: Green = Yes, Red = No.
Current Certificate Link to the associated calibration certificate (PDF), if available.
ID No. Internal identification number of the calibrated device.
Manufacturer Manufacturer of the calibrated device.
Arrival Date Date on which the device arrived for calibration.
Model / Measurement Range + Accuracy Model designation including measurement range or accuracy specification.
Description Free-text description for device identification.
Serial Number Serial number of the device.
Inventory Status Status in the inventory system (e.g., "READY", "OUTGOING").
Condition Functional condition (e.g., "ACTIVE").
CTag System-internal UUID for unique referencing.
Actions Action menu (Edit, Delete, View Details).

Typical Use Cases

  • Deadline Monitoring: Using the "Next Calibration" column, technicians and QM managers can identify which devices are due for calibration soon.
  • Validity Check: The "Valid Entry" column shows at a glance whether all deployed devices are validly calibrated.
  • Certificate Access: The "Current Certificate" column provides direct access to the associated PDF.
  • Traceability: The Technician, Calibration Date, and device data columns ensure complete documentation.
  • Editing: The action menu allows calibrations to be edited or details to be viewed.

Technical Notes

Certificates

The "Current Certificate" column supports upload and versioning of PDF documents. Only linked certificates are considered revision-proof documented.

Condition Check

The condition should be regularly checked in conjunction with the inventory status to ensure that only functional and operational devices are used.

  • Devices with missing calibration results or outdated calibration dates should be prioritized for calibration measures.
  • The UUID in the CTag field allows calibrations to be uniquely referenced system-wide and evaluated or exported automatically.
