Maintenance Overview¶
In calServer, all maintenance and repair activities are assigned directly to the corresponding device. This assignment enables seamless documentation of all performed work and supports traceability in quality management.
Maintenance¶
Maintenance activities are preventive measures carried out at regular intervals to ensure the functionality and reliability of devices.
- Regular maintenance intervals are stored in the system
- Automatic reminders for upcoming maintenance
- Documentation of performed maintenance work
- Storage of maintenance logs and checklists
Repairs¶
Repairs are carried out when a device has a defect or no longer functions properly.
- Recording of damage and root cause of failure
- Documentation of performed repair work
- Storage of repair reports and used spare parts
- Tracking of warranty cases
Table View¶
The maintenance overview displays all maintenance entries in a filterable table.
The filter row above the table allows targeted searching for maintenance entries:
| No. | Column | Description |
|---|---|---|
| ① | Fault Description | Filters by documented fault description |
| ② | Repair Action | Filters by performed or planned repair measures |
| ③ | Maintenance Date | Narrowing by date of maintenance |
| ④ | Maintenance Time | Filtering by time or duration |
| ⑤ | Web Status | Filters by status values of a connected web interface |
| ⑥ | Counter Reading | Filtering by operating hour counter or consumption values |
| ⑦ | R-Tech | Technician abbreviation or technology area |
| ⑧ | Category | Classification of the maintenance (e.g., inspection, calibration) |
| ⑨ | Status | Processing status (e.g., open, completed) |
| ⑩ | ID-NR | Internal device or maintenance ID |
| ⑪ | Description | Free-text description of the process |
| ⑫ | Serial Number | Serial number of the device to be maintained |
| ⑬ | Repairdoc | Stored repair document or documentation link |
Action Menu¶
The following functions are available via the action menu at the end of each row:
- View -- Opens a read-only detail view of the maintenance entry
- Edit -- Allows modification or supplementation of data
- Delete -- Removes the entry after a confirmation prompt (may be restricted for completed processes)
Typical Workflows¶
Using the filters "Fault Description", "Repair Action" and "Status", specific maintenance incidents or completed processes can be found quickly. The fields "ID-NR", "Serial Number" and "Counter Reading" enable unique identification of the affected device. Stored repair documents and supplementary free-text fields ensure complete and traceable documentation.
Note for Administrators
Editing permissions can be defined on a role basis -- e.g., only for technicians or QM managers. Changes should be versioned or logged to keep maintenance histories traceable. Fields like "Web Status" may depend on automated interfaces -- check corresponding system logs as needed.
